It's pretty simple really.  I love shapes and the contrast between materials.  I love the balance between the constructed building and the void or empty space that serves as our communal space.

I love that we as humans have the capacity to dream something and then figure out how to put it in place.  Some of it is simple stuff like how a space functions, how it flows from one area to another, how it brings the outdoors in and allows for you to be outdoors while still being inside.

I love how light plays with a space and changes the mood of the building or space as the day progresses.

I love how we are fundamentally creating a shelter, yet we can do it with style and creative licence.  It serves a purpose yet looks good in its surroundings.

In this day and age, I am inspired by those who have the foresight to create buildings or homes that function without impacting on our environment. 

I believe in green design and feel that we as a global community need to embrace the technology available.  Our governments and local authorities need to lead the way by encouraging us to use the technology, perhaps by subsidising the costs so that the technology is more freely available.
